A-P-P-R-O-V-E-D!!! I walked into the bank in Corydon first thing this morning with all my paperwork and walked out with access to an unlimited amount of money if I wish! HAHA! I also talked to my contractors today so they are all up to date on the process. My main carpenter has 2 roofs to shingle and then he will be ready to start and the carpenter that is going to be putting on my siding, windows, and installing my septic gave me the approximate starting date of middle October. Pretty sweet, huh??
I also got my colors picked out this weekend with my sister's help. I have a tan picked out for my bedrooms, living room, and dining room. For my kitchen, bathroom, and mudroom I have a light yellow picked out. It's a pretty yellow...not too bright and not to light. And something cool and making the rooms a little less boring, I'm going to paint a wall in the living room and dining room a dark red. It looks really good with my tan. But things may change, I have A LONG ways to go until I start painting.
So that's all with my update right now. I hope you are as excited as I am!! Sorry I don't have pictures this time. Rest assured though, I will be bombarding you with pictures as soon as the first load of materials is dropped off.
One more thing....I want to personally invite all you readers to a party that will be going on at the house on September 18th. The festivities start at 5:00 but will be going on all evening. I'm sure there will be a campfire buring all night too. It's not going to be like the old high school and college parties you all attended though. Wellll.....this party won't be at least. Anyway....my Aunt and Uncle, Craig and Shirley Paugh, that own the farm that the house is on are back in Iowa and they are hosting it. A few of their friends from California are also coming back. So along with the "out of staters" there will also be alot of people from this area and lots of our family members. It is a potluck type supper with some entertainment and good people. I'm sure I will also be giving tours of the house and telling everybody about my plans. So I would love it if some of you could make it. The more, the merrier.
